What else is billed
- The per-minute rate covers the language model, speech-to-text and text-to-speech, with no token charges.
- Telephony is billed separately: on your own carrier, or on Bland's built-in Twilio at pass-through cost. The pricing page gives no per-minute figure for Bland's numbers.
- Transfer time to a human costs $0.05 a minute on Start and $0.04 on Build when the call uses Bland's numbers; with your own Twilio number transfers are free.
- Call time is prorated to the exact second. An outbound call attempt on Bland's telephony costs at least $0.015.
- Bland's billing documentation also lists a Scale plan at $499 a month with $0.11 a minute, which its pricing page doesn't show.
